Terms and Conditions

Age Requirement:

All customers assert and affirm that they are at least 21 years old. Finding.wine retains the right to use reasonable means to verify a buyer's age and reserves the right to refuse to sell wine to anyone.

By placing an order on Finding.wine, customers are expressly warranting that are at least 21 years of age, and that the person who will receive the order is also at least 21 years of age.

All shipments require that the carrier verify the age of the recipient before delivery. In most locations, it is illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to attempt to purchase alcohol. Finding.wine will comply with any legal entity in the prosecution of anyone under the age of 21 attempting to buy alcohol.

 

Return Policy

Finding.wine accepts returns of unopened product up to 30 days from the original purchase date. Please note that a 15% restocking fee is applicable to all returned or canceled orders. Unopened bottles must be returned to the store within 30 days to be eligible for a return. If you cannot return products to the store, you may arrange a return shipment to our warehouse with the help of a Customer Service representative at info@finding.wine. Return shipping fees will apply.

 

A 15% cancellation fee will apply for all canceled orders and Fees assessed for payment to the third party carrier are non-refundable.

 

Cancellation Policy

Canceled orders are orders that have not yet been shipped but finalized charges have been issued. When canceling an order, a restocking fee of 15% will be assessed at the time of the issuance of a credit. Specially ordered products cannot be canceled once payment authorization has been obtained. All cancellations are at the discretion of finding.wine.

 

Corked or bad bottle?

Any older vintage or library wines are purchased at the buyer’s risk. We will not accept any returns on bottles that have been opened, and we do not issue refunds on wines.

 

Current or recently released wines will be accepted for returns, with a minimum of two-thirds of the contents to verify the defect. Because our products are perishable, we cannot guarantee wines that have been out of our possession for 30 days. After the 30 days window, we cannot make exceptions to the policy even in the event of a bad bottle.

 

Please note that all bad bottles must be returned to finding.wine for inspection by a manager before a refund or credit can be issued. If you cannot bring the bottle into the store, a Customer Service representative can assist you with a return shipment. Recork the bottle as tightly as possible and pack it safely in a box. Finding.wine will send you a return label at no additional cost. No restocking fees apply to bad bottle refunds once verified.

 

Note on older vintages: Finding.wine takes extensive effort to source wines that have been appropriately handled from cellar conditions to transportation. Wines are sourced from leading importers and distributors. All wines are carefully inspected before selling to ensure integrity in each one of our library products. All older vintages and library wines are purchased at the buyer's risk in case of a problem. We will not accept any returns on bottles that have been opened, and we do not issue refunds on wines.

 

Shipping Regulations:

Within the United States, many states have laws regulating the shipment of wine into their jurisdiction and may limit the amount of wine that can enter the state without permits or licenses. By placing an order with Finding.wine, you are expressly representing and warranting that you have reviewed any pertinent local and state laws before purchasing wine on this website and that your purchase complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

A street address at which an adult over 21 years of age or older is available during daytime hours to receive wine is required. We therefore recommend a business address wherever possible. Wine cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box nor to an APO address. 

Buyer also acknowledges that finding.wine does not recommended ground shipping during extreme temperatures due the fact that the ground shipping may take more than 5 days; shipping times do not include Saturday and Sunday.

Buyer, therefore agrees to indemnify and hold harmless finding.wine and its affiliates for any harm, damage, claims, liabilities and losses arising caused by extreme temperatures or temperature fluctuations that may occur during transport

All shipping costs are to be paid by the purchaser.

If one or more items are not available for shipment, we will notify you to offer substitutions or make other arrangements.

 

 Delivery Attempt

It is the Customer's responsibility to be present at delivery time. If no one is available to receive the package, a subsequent delivery attempt will be made. Whenever possible, we encourage you to use a commercial business address to ensure the fastest delivery time at a cheaper cost. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to Finding.wine. The Customer will be required to incur the cost of shipping and handling, regardless of the Customer deciding to cancel the order. We charge a 15% cancellation fee for all canceled orders. Should the shipment be unable to deliver, the Customer will be responsible for the cost of return shipment and subsequent charge to resend the wines.

 

Pre-Arrival Items:

Finding.wine sells some of its items on a pre-arrival or futures basis. At time of sale, an estimated arrival time will be provided. This is only an estimate. Due to circumstances beyond Finding.wine control, some items may be delayed beyond the expected date. Pre-Arrival items are subject to our Order Cancellation Policy. Please contact info@finding.wine with questions about the status of your pre-arrival items.

 

Availability and Pricing:

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Due to variations in condition and sourcing, different bottles of the same wine may occasionally be posted with different prices. Due to the real time nature of our website, items are not removed from our inventory until after successful 'check out'. Invoices, verbal and email confirmation notwithstanding, no item is guaranteed to be available until it has been pulled for shipping.

 

Errors:

At Finding.wine  we are trying hard accurately describe all products and provide world class service in all aspects of its operation. Please contact us immediately if you believe an error has occurred and we will attempt to rectify it or reach an amicable arrangement. Our maximum liability in any circumstance is limited to the purchase price of an item.

 

Privacy Policy:

Finding.wine will NEVER give any of your information to any other party outside of Finding.wine. If you have any questions, please contact us. Should you request your Email address be removed from our mailing list, we will do so immediately

 

Security Policy:

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

 

Estimated Shipping Times:

Shipping times do not include Saturday and Sunday. Most orders leave our store within 1-2 business days. Finding.wine does not guarantee any estimated shipping time.

 

Note on shipping: finding.wine recommends against shipping wine during the hot summer season or during extreme freezing temperatures. During these periods of time 2-day Air or overnight shipping methods are best. If would like to hold shipment for optimal weather conditions leave a note in the comment section. Please be advised that finding.wine will take no responsibility for such damage and will not accept returns on any such shipments.
