Champagne Larmandier-Bernier is a Champagne house in Vertus, just south of Reims. The house was founded by Philippe Larmandier and Elisabeth Bernier in 1971 and today it specializes in the production of both grand cru and premier cru Champagnes from the Côte des Blancs region. The Larmandier and Bernier families have an impressive winemaking history dating back to the French Revolution. Indeed, the Larmandier family is credited with helping to raise the profile of the Côte de Blancs region. Pierre Larmandier took over the reins of the estate in 1988 and, under his management, converted Champagne Larmandier-Bernier to biodynamic viticulture by 1999.
