Clos Lentiscus - 2011 - Perill Noir - 750 ml.
Spain - Catalonia
Red - Vintage: 2011 - Size: 750 ml.
A Star not only within the Natural Wine World but within the whole world of Wine. The name 'Clos Lentiscus' derives from the Pistacia Lentiscus bush that grows on the estate. The Evergreen shrub with dark red berries and oily leaves influences the berry-like pop that the Perill wines inherit. The Cric Cric, Croac Croac, and Kikiriki wines hail from tiny parcels of biodynamically grown vines, each one a unique and distinct experience. The 10th generation of winemakers (Father and daughter) try to transmit all their vines' history and personality. They live in a 14th Century farm surrounded by a Mediterranean forest, located at 225m in the Garraf Natural Park. With sandy/calcareous terroir growing local varieties such as Malvasia de Sitges, Xarel.lo, Xarel.lo Vermell, Sumoll, Carinyena and Ull de Llebre, Parellada, Cartoixà Vermell and Muscat of Alexandria.
