The 2013 Ayler Kupp GG Fass 18 – formerly designated as Kupp 56 – is still reductive on both nose and palate and its concentrated character is coated by its elegant and mineral structure. Full-bodied and extremely salty this is a very complex, dense, fresh, tightly woven, tension-filled and straightforward Riesling with great aging potential. Keep for a decade and up to 30 years! Don't blame the producer if he cannot sell you this wine in 10 years when you will love it. You have to buy it now and you have to be very patient.
