In the late 19th century, the arrival of pests and disease coupled with increasing industrialisation led to a sharp drop in grape growing for Txakoli wine until it practically disappeared. Since the early 1990s, a group of Txakoli enthusiasts has been working hard at recovering this grape variety. Arzabro Txakolina is a family winery located in Delika, close to the impressive Nervion Waterfall. Our family has been linked to agricultural activities for generations.
