It is an aromatic, expressive and floral wine that has managed to preserve a clearly associable character to the Ribera del Duero to which it adds subtlety and freshness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHis style has conquered international critics and catapulted him to the podium of the great Spanish reds; such are its energy, its balance and the emotion it causes every sip. Made with perfectly mature whole clusters, the must of the different varieties macerates together, as a parcel wine; the wild yeasts are responsible for directing a slow cold fermentation in stainless tanks. Malolactic and subsequent aging occurs in oak, or cubillos, as the barrels in the area are known. Middle layer, something more fragile than one ventures for a large riverside red, reddish color with violet reflections and tinted and slow tear.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe nose mixes cherries and ripe blackberries with very fine smoked oak memories on a comforting lactic background. Mouth somewhat austere and very mineral, loaded with fruit in season in perfect balance with the earthy notes that transport us to his vineyard of origin. Long finish dress of fine bitterness. Around 7000 bottles of this great wine were bottled, many of which now compare with the Valbuena de Vega Sicilia, which is situated right by the great wines of the appellation. Since 2010 we have joined our efforts to make a dream come true… The winery is within the “Consejo Regulador de la Denominación de Origen Ribera del Duero” and within the “Consejo Ecologico de Castilla y León”, the institution that regulates ORGANIC WINES.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe domain's greatest asset is the vineyard. we count with 30 hectares of very old vines, mostly in organic farming, apart from 5 additional hectares relatively young (under 50 years). We are grapes suppliers of some of the main wineries in the region since more than 10 vintages. Our passion is the vineyard! Jorge comes from a family of many generations of vignerons.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHis studies were based in ‘Soil, viticulture and oenology’ at the Universities of Bordeaux and Burgundy. He worked with prestigious wineries such as Domaine De La Romanée-Conti for more than two years. He has also worked in Spain in the Vega Sicilia Group for a year and as technical director of Bodegas Arzuaga-Navarro for nine years. Since 2013 he works full time in Dominio del Águila.
