Made from 35-65 year-old vines located in Rioja Alavesa at an average altitude of 1,700 feet, these hand-crafted wines are made in extremely small quantities for the rare wine collector and distinguished wine consumer alike. A wine that is voluminous and bold, with nuances of ripe fruit and fresh spice, La Poza has ample tannins and is consistently round and dense. An excellent food wine due to it’s slightly sweet character, this extraordinary single-vineyard wine clearly demonstrates the quality potential of a stellar Rioja.
